2007-2008 School Year Office Closures

  Our offices will be closed on the following days:

May 28, 2007 for Memorial Day

July 2-6 2007 for the July 4th holiday

September 3, 2007 for Labor Day

November 19-23 2007 for Thanksgiving

December 21, 2007 to January 4, 2008 for the Holiday Season

"SAMPLES EXAMPLES"

Remember, a quarter sample consists of three things;

 1. A graded sample of “daily work”

2. A graded quiz

3. A graded chapter or unit exam or product resulting from the studies.

Course Agreement or Home Designed classes may look slightly different in the quarterly work sample. Time logs, sample work, course evaluation form, photos and essays are a part of what a quarterly sample might include for these types of classes.

BYU students should make sure that they have completed data entry all of their assignments prior to the 15th so that we can check grades.

If you are struggling or lagging behind in your studies, call us so that we can help you!

We look forwarding to reviewing your work!

STANDARDIZED TESTING IN APRIL
Mandatory state testing is scheduled for April 1-3.  There are some make up dates available, but you are required to attend.  There are NO make up days for the High School Qualifying Exam.  Please mark your calendars for these dates so that you will not miss testing.  Missing testing dates can affect your enrollment status with CyberLynx.  Testing will be held at the First Baptist Church on Bogard Road.  Click here for a link for a map.

An additional Science portion is required for all 4, 8, and 10th graders.  We have tentatively scheduled those sessions for Friday, April 4th at the CyberLynx office for grades 4 and 8.  10th graders are scheduled for Thursday, April 9th. also at the CyberLynx office.  The Science sessions will begin at 10am and should only take 1-2 hours.  Should any changes occur in the Science scheduling, we will post it here on the website and notify the families.
